Windows Mail - Automatically deletes inbox messages after they have been
read and after Windows Mail is closed and reopened.  Note:  The deleted
messages do not appear in the Deleted Items folder.  Where did the
deleted messages go and how can I fix Windows Mail so that inbox
messages that are marked "read" are not sent into a black hole.  It
would be nice that if inbox messages that have been read would be
stored in the inbox folder unless they were deleted manually, in which
case these deleted message should be stored in the "Deleted Items
Folder"  Very Bizarre.  I wonder if this is a bug associated with SP1
for Vista?  Help appreciated.

The messages are likely to be hidden, but not deleted.  To check for this,
click on the Inbox, then View, then Current View, then Show All Messages.

While in the Inbox: View | Current View. Check: Show All Messages and
nothing else, (such as Hide Read Messages).

Yes, followed instructions to find/reveal hidden email messages and
Widows Mail works perfectly. While in the Inbox: View | Current View.
Check: Show All Messages and nothing else, (such as Hide Read Messages)
Thank You!!!
