So how do I stop the windows mail popping up all the time? I use my work mail
esystem and don`t need a new one.
I have tried everything in my knowledge but the windows mail keeps popping
up every five minutes when I use the computer.
Could someone help how I can make it "passive".
Thank you for your help.

Remove all the accounts under it and it shouldn't be able to find any new
messages to tell you about.  You may also need to delete any messages
currently in the Outbox.

It would have been helpful if you had revealed which program this
"work mail" is. It may not be fully Vista compatible, so it doesn't
know how to tell the OS that it is the default email program.
