In the past I have seen several postings in this group explaining how to
sort your Contacts list either by First Name or Last name. At the time I
read, but did not absorb, the information given but now I am seeking details
on how to carry out this procedure.
Can anyone enlighten me please?

This was posted earlier today by Dave:

In the Contacts folder:
Change the View to "Details".
Right-click on the "Name" column heading, click on "First Name", then click
on "Last Name"
Click on the "Last Name" heading to sort by that, or click on "First Name"
heading to sort by that.

In a Create Mail window:
Click on To:
Click on the "Name" column heading... it cycles thru 4 different sorts

In the Contact Properties:
click on the down arrow at the end of the Full Name box

Thank you Gary. Didn't see Dave's post until after I put mine up, and it was
just what I needed!
