Video image quality terrible with Vista

Playing at Windows Media Player, Media Center or even Nero ShowTime, any
kind of media (mpeg2, AVI DV, etc) has a horizontal lines when the action is
higher.  Looks like Windows are unable to show the entire image, so, some
lines are missing. Just with Cyberlink PowerDVD I have a perfect video
image.
Very nice, Microsoft charges us a lot of money saying that Vista includes a
lot of new solutions... DVD Maker do not work, Mail has no Portuguese spell
check (!), video image quality sucks, Windows firewall sucks, ...

And I have a new powerfull PC: Intel Duo Core 2 2.4Ghz with 3GB RAM.

Have you tried using the following utility to change your primay decoder to
the PowerLink Deocer from the MS decoder?
