just a note to say that all of the profiles in Movie Maker render WMV files
using the WMA10 codec, one that an XP system might not have.
I met a nicely written error message when I tried to import a WMV file made
in Vista to my XP laptop system... it told me I didn't have the codec, and
it couldn't automatically get it for me because my option to automatically
get needed codecs was turned off. I turned it back on, it got and installed
the codec, and all worked well.
