When playing music on Media Player, my music plays fine up until the last few seconds of the track, then it starts to skip. anyone any ideas how to fix the problem? I'm using Vista Home Premium. You are probably using a PC/Laptop with an onboard SigmaTel audio chip. To fix this problem do the following: Control panel > Sound > Speakers/Headphones > Enhancements: Select "Disable all Enhancements" That should fix it. Happens on preinstalled audio and cds, dvds all media. Took computer back and recieved new one. Still happens. FWIW though, I recently built a desktop with yet another onboard Sigmatel sound chip and there was no skipping.
