I'm attempting to sync my recorded TV from MCE to my PPC SD card.  I have my
PPC connect via a usb cable and MCE setup to sync.

If I watch the sync process from with in WMP, it starts, status changes to
'needs conversion', and then switches to error.

When I look in the event viewer under 'Applications and Services Logs' and
'Media Center' I only see 'infomation' entries for when the show record and
stop.

When I look under 'Windows Logs' the only thing I see that *may* be releated
is an information log under 'System' that say
"Microsoft-Windows-FilterManager" has "Filter Manager successfully attached
to volume '\Device\Harddisk0\DR0'" in it.

I have successfully synced MP3's from both MCE and WMP.  But I think my
problem is in the transcoding of my video, and I don't have to re-encode the
MP3's.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, tell me how to turn up
logging on MCE, etc... It would be greatly appreciated!

I'm dying for more information on the Vista MCE encoder... I'm fairly sure
that is where my problem lies.  Especially since I noticed I can't burn
media to DVD as well.
