when I'm using XP, I'm just have to right click the file and select
propertices, then I can find all mp3 file details, also I can edit the lyric
into the file, but how about Vista?

*using build 5472, right now

In Media Player click Songs in the left column. In the main pane the columns
are the Album, track number, title, length, etc. Get to the song you want to
change, right-click its title in the Title column, and choose Advanced Tag
Editor.

I don’t know why Lyrics don’t show up in properties for MP3 files. I hadn’t noticed until you mentioned it. Seems like a strange and arbitrary
omission though, considering all the other properties in there.

I also don’t get why clicking Songs in WMP 11 defaults to grouping by
artist and album with titles over in the third column. Seems totally
counter-intuitive to me. Seems to me the default view for the Songs category
should be all titles in alphabetical order regardless of artist and album.

Unsolved mysteries.
