Hi people,

Just wondering if anyone can help.  This isn't the first time I've had this
problem, but I don't seem to be able to get video to play on Vista Beta 2
build 5342 - using Mediaplayer 11.  Does anyone else have this problem?  I
downloaded the Xmas video from Microsoft connect and tried to play it - but
nothing.  Mediaplayer doesn't crash, it just doesn't play the video.
MediaCenter, however, seems to be playing them fine.

Anybody got any ideas as to why this would be happening?  Could it be my
hardware causing these issues? (Pentium D, Gefore 6800GS, 512MB RAM...)

Cheers

Any video of mine plays fine until about 35% of the way through it
(percentage because of different file lengths - always does it about of a
third of the way in) goes really slowly and doesn't close down until the
video is finished. I've got a WinSAT rating of 4 on my machine... so it's
not a RAM problem :o(

I sometimes have to click play a couple of times or double click the file in
the playlist to get it to play in 5342.  Known bug I believe.

Yeh they had a similar thing in 5308 where you had to double press on the
red X in the corner to close some applications. This was fixed thank God
because it drove me nuts... but make sure you bug it anyway :o)
