Dear Microsoft,

I've spent a lot of time over the last year or so creating iTunes playlists.
Can those be imported into WMP 11?

Thanks,

I forget how iTunes stores its playlists. But my guess would be that
Microsoft isn't about to create a feature for importing iTunes playlists,
lest the lawsuits start flying. My guess is that the simple solution will be
to export the iTunes playlists to .m3u, which is a neutral MP3 format that
WMP 11 does support.

There is rumour and conjecture that when Microsoft's Zune multimedia player
launches there will be a way to import and convert all of the iTunes Music
Store purchased media for use with Zune, so that people will be able to keep
their purchased music and video and use these items in the player of their
choice.  But that's only a rumour...
