When using my keyboard the keyboard to adjust the system volume, the green
overlay reminds me of my 1989 Aiwa 14" TV.

Surely you can come up with something a little more 'Aero' ?

To address something other than a bug with Vista, please use the "Feedback"
icon on your Vista desktop.  You may be witnessing the graphics of your
keyboard UI and not Vista, however.

Thanks for your reply.

This UI is defintely something in Vista, as I have not installed any 3rd
party software or drivers, and the keyboard is listed as a standard
HID-compliant device.

Also, i though this forum was for suggestions to Microsoft too, as well as
problems?

Thanks,

Mark

No problem.  I was thinking that what you were seeing was from Logitech's
SetPoint, or something similar.  Guess not, huh?  After thinking about it,
and then trying the volume control buttons on my notebook in XP, I see what
you mean, and I guess if they can do "Flip 3D" and live previews of the
taskbar, I see your point.

This forum is user based, and though it is quite likely that employees of
Microsoft view, and sometimes post, it is not an official path for sending
any information to Microsoft.  It is a user self-help or group-help forum.
