I get the "no audio output device is installed" now that I ahve upgraded my
Vista machine to 4 gb ram.  When I check for drivers in device manager, there
is no sound section.
Sound worked fine before I moved up from 2 gb
In an effort to fix the problem I changed bios to "optomized defaults", but
this didn't fix the problem.

Problem solved!

I am running a 32 bit system, which can't take the 4 gigs or ram.  I just
needed to downgrade back to 2 gigs.
