Need some help? It seems as though I have lost my media center icon or for
that matter I can’t find the application on any of my hard drives either, I
can see that it has been licensed to me on the media center home page but can
not find it anywhere on my computer. Any ideas? I am using Windows Vista
ultimate with SP1 installed.

Create a shortcut to "C:\Windows\ehome\ehshell.exe"

Media Center is now part of the OS. You can get to if from your start
menu. I have Vista Ultimate x64 sp1 and I'm going crazy with MC. When I
start it I get a script error, then the screen goes blank and the mouse
disappears. I can ALt+tab back to the desktop and possibly do some other
tasks but MC sits for about a half hour before the home screen displays.
Various functions give errors and MC will stop working without giving
error messages and restart with another half hour wait to get the MC
menus. I can't find any troubleshooting info anywhere on MS site or
anywhere else. What gives with this piece of crap?

***Of course you can. Start>Programs.

***What firewall, anti-virus application or security suite is installed?
There are some that cause problems which do not appear immediately.

Hey, I have exactly the same problem. Even after a clean install all I get is
a debug error regarding "Lost Focus" from MCE Launcher.
