Photo gallery can't play mpg on second user

I just did a clean install of Vista 32 and noticed something odd.  Of the two
user accounts on the machine (both administrators), only one of them can play
.mpg files in photo gallery.  Photo gallery gives an error for one users and
works fine for the other.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Could be a corrupted database.

Unfortunately this didn't work.  Photo gallery gives the message "This video
can't be displayed".

After some messing around I found that clearing Media Player's caches solved
the problem.
