Regarding my earlier post on problems browsing computers on a network with
Win98 and Vista Ultimate computers, here's another question.

My Win98 computer apparently has 2 ethernet adapters -- a Diamond PNA and an
Accton.  Both have been installed, each with two different protocols --
IPX/SPX and TCP/IP.  Addtionally, a TCP/IP protocol for a USB cable modem is
also installed from the time when I was directly connected to the cable mdem
via USB (before I set up the network with my new Vista laptop through my
router).

Could this be causing problems with browsing over the network? I prefer to
use the Accton since it has 10/100 Mbps speed, while the Diamond has only 10
Mbps.  Do you recommend I uninstall all except the TCP/IP protocol for the
Accton adapter?

Yes, use TCP/IP only.
