Hi all,

I just installed Vista Ultimate July CTP on my Dell Precision M70 laptop. It
has a 60GB HDD, 2GB RAM and Centrino processor. From the time Vista boots,
till I shut it down, there is constant disk access. What is it doing? That
cannot be normal..

TIA!

Indexing could be the reason although should not be constant once
files/floders are indexed. Check taskmanager to see what is running when disc
access is notable.
Defender or disk defrag settings?
