A friend and I bought the G.SKILL 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
(PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL6S-2GBMQ and we both have it
on our vista operating systems and we ran the performance test. His is
at at 5.4 and mine is only at a 4.7. My computer has higher scores in
everything else. Could you please help us to understand why this is
happening. I'm not sure if i can somehow tweak my RAM on my computer
or not. Thank you for your time.

Perhaps you installed the chips incorrectly?  On most boards, each chip
of a pair of DDR2 chips is installed in the same colored socket. That is
"most boards".  Check your mainboard manual for clarification.

You need to check and see if if memory requires a voltage other than
the standard 1.8 and adjust in the bios. Also make sure the bios is
detecting the memory timings correctly and adjust manually if not...
