In the Event Viewer (Administrative Tools in Control Panel), click on
Windows Logs, then Application. It should be under the item "wininit". You
can filter that to find it. You should find the chkdsk log there.

My mistake, it's listed as Information, Event ID: 1001, Source: Winlogon

I can't find the " Event ID ---", instead I found this under
Application 36,916 Events: -
Information 5/4/2008 11:20:27 pm chkdsk
However I don't know what/how to proceed from then on.Please advise.
