The only problems I'm having on my Vista box involve IE7. There are two of them:

1. The dreaded "IE has stopped working" thing, mainly when I am attempt to leave the program
2. A very weird one. I will be doing nothing in particular when IE simply goes nuts and starts sprouting open windows like mold. I have had it open as many as 60 before it would stop and let me close them. This is really the most maddening of the two. Any ideas? Should I just disable ALL add ins?

Thank you!

These symptoms are usually caused by two things (or a combination of both):
1) incompatible third-party addons; 2) malware. So the troubleshooting
entails 1) running without any addons and systematically testing; 2) making
sure your computer is malware/virus-free (a Good Thing to do in any case).
