drivers and av for sp1?

Hi

i have to reinstall sp1 because of a system restore, apparently i need  a
new nvidia g force driver, so i need install that first?  then do i disable
ca anti virus on downloading?  what about spy bot, lavasoft or windows
defender,?  lavasoft and spybot only run on command, windows defender and ca
are live.
please advise

    I've never disabled my antivirus, antispy or firewall during the
installation of any updates, including SP1 and have never had any problems.
    Did SP1 install via automatic updates or did you manually attempt to
install SP1 and it refused to install due to a driver problem or other
issue? If it did install correctly why did you do a System Restore? If it
did not install why did you do a System Restore? You can always undo the
System Restore.
    If there is an updated driver you should be able to find it on the
webpage provided in the link below. Install the driver and try the SP1
installation again.
