Hello,

in Front sorry for my English - so be patient with me.

My Desktop had a funny spleen - it makes some Noise like

'ding dong dong ding' couple of times

At same Time the Task manager will have between 60 and 95%

Inside the Taskmanager the svchost.exe takes a lot of the Performance
It will also involve the PnP Service, and Dcom Server or so

This will take between 10 til 15 minutes after each reboot

Has anyone any Idea to solve this conduct

Thanks

Torsten Scharf

My gut reaction "low disk space" and "virtual memory swapping" (ie swap
file) but then I noticed your signature stating 2TB HD's!  Still I think
I'd be taking a look at unhooking the external HD to see if the problem
still happens.....also look to see if you have automatic indexing of
your HD's toggled on.
