help?!?!?!

i own a sony vaio running a windows vista operating system and very
frequently when i might not even be touching the computer it randomly
shuts down for no reason when i look at the problem this is what it
tells me:

Random shutdowns are most commonly caused by overheating and/or other
hardware failures. Contact Sony tech support for repair/replacement.

Your laptop battery pack might be going bad; also, check Power Savings
features.
