Desktop background problems?

Clicking "enter" does nothing !!! - 24 May 2008 04:08 GMT
Why, all of the sudden, anything I choose for a desktop background image is
enlarged and out of focus? Not just an image I've downloaded, but the "stock"
images also. I've tried the pixel gig and no luck.

Before looking for some fancy hot fix, let's not forget the old
reliable -- system restore.

In addition to t-4-2's post:

Have you changed your DPI (increased from 96 DPI) or screen resolution
(decreased) settings?

You might also check to see if trying different picture positions in
step 5 of this tutorial to see if that helps any.
