Ok Guys first of all my specs:

Windows Vista Buisness
AMD athlon X64 3200+
1gb Ram
Nvidia 6800GT 256mbram
Gygabite K8vt800m MOBO
VIA vt8237 Raid
200 GB maxtor S-ATA hd
160GB Seagate S-ATA hd

Now my problem,

Since vista beta 1 i've been having problems with preformance, but i always
thought it would be fixed in the final version. This is not the case. My
problems contain the "Sound Stuttering" problem which has been reported on
multiple site. I havent found a solution for that. But this is the main
problem. I feel it is just one of the effects of a major preformance problem.
Because it has also effect on copying files on the HD, this takes a long
time, atleast looking at the windows xp preformance. I THINK it is something
to do with the vt8237 RAID drivers, as mentioned in another forum:

http://thevistaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=1966

I tried everything, well atleast i tried to reinstall the VIA vt8237 RAID
several times. Normal install, removed the drivers trough device manager. But
i still have the problem. Now i really don't know what the awnser to my
problem is, I just want to run Vista in normal speed. PLZ HELP

Grz

If you get sound stuttering I think I have a solution that will fix that. It
might be a buffer issue with creative SB audigy cards. I got that with one of
my games.

here's a link to the fix
http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=41597&view=findpost&p=446676

it worked for my sound 100%. I had to turn down my settings accordingly but
it fixed my problem. hope it works for you.
