Just tried scanning six photos and had to rescan each, with XP only had to go
back reposition view, proceed and photo went directly to selected folder. Now
with Vista what took a couple of seconds takes for ever. Is there a fix
please remember I'm not very clever with programming and need step by step
instructuions.

If it's an MFC240c it's a Brother, not a Canon.....

Do you have the latest drivers AND firmware update from the Brother website?
