I have a D5160 printer that prints on CD and DVD. You can get the regular
printing on paper to work by using the deskjet 990c driver. Has anyone been
able to get it to work the CD/DVD printing? When I had RC1 installed there
was a driver from microsoft called 5100 Series. When I installed RC2 that
driver was no longer there. Any ideas other than to wait for HP?

I was able to get this printer working. You need to install the driver
manually instead of using the hp software. Once it is installed just go to
the printer settings and tell it that the second tray is cd/dvd and it works
great.

No reply from HP support
So after nearly a day of searching, I found this method
Use the following links to required software
*'HP Customer Care local language selection '
lc=en&cc=us&product=1155996&os=2093&softwareitem=oj-51361-2&dlc=en&*
Select OS
next page
Select basic driver
next page
click on file name *(using download button I only got corrupt files)*
HP_Vista_SF_Ph1.exe
*'Roxio Express Labeler HP Photosmart D5160 Printer'

The link you gave for the D5160 only leads to drivers for Vista. I cannot
find the ones for Windows XP. Anyone know where they are? HP is no help,
they only can help you with the hardware not the software, crummy ++stards.
