Upgraded and installed Vista Business from XP. I used Scansoft PaperPort on
my other operating system and it worked great. I was able to configure a
fax so that it would print a copy automatically on Paperport. Now that I
have Windows Vista Business and configure it to print a copy on Paperport, it
does nothing. I upgraded my Paperport to the latest version (Paperport 11)
but it still does not recognize it. How can I have windows fax and scan
print to paperport automatically when a fax comes in?
Has ScanSoft said anything about PaperPort's ability to integrate with Fax
and Scan? Fax and Scan is not quite the same animal as XP Fax and I'm
fairly sure they'd have to make allowances/modifications for this.

I have this same problem. Did you ever find a fix?
I really need Vista Business "Fax and Scan" to print automatically to
PaperPort 11 when a new fax is received! Worked (works) great in WinXP
- I don't get why it would be broken in Vista... I really need to get
our "incoming fax server" OFF a WinXP workstation and onto the Vista
computer that's -supposed -to be doing this job...
From the Fax and Scan application, I can select a fax and print it to
PaperPort manually - so I KNOW it's capable of printing the fax directly
into PaperPort, it just won't do it automatically as the fax is
received. That makes me think it's more of a "Vista" problem, less of a
PaperPort problem...

OK, while this *isn't* a fix, it's a good "workaround" IF you have
PaperPort Pro 11:
The Professional Version of PaperPort has a "desktop delivery"
function. It'll monitor a folder (or e-mails) and grab any new
documents or images that show up there. Perfect for having Fax and Scan
save a copy of incoming faxes to a seperate folder and have PaperPort
"watch" that folder. It will take the fax image (.tif), convert it to a
.pdf and move it into the PaperPort folder of your choice - like the
"FAX Inbox"...
I still wish Vista's Fax and Scan and/or PaperPort would actually PRINT
to the "PaperPort Image Printer" like it should, but this will work in
the meantime.

Does your Paperport Image Printer work from other applications? I can't get
mine to work at all. I'll print, but nothing happens.
Is there a fix I'm missing?
