Can anyone advise - Vista & Microsoft Office Document Imaging / Document
Scanning applications were recognising the Epson CX6600 all in one to
scan & OCR convert documents into Word before Christmas 07, but now
don't.  Plus, Epson's "Smart Panel" suite of scanning applications has
stopped working.  Plus, I can't uninstall the Epson software!!!!
All I've done is apply Vista standard updates (ok, so it might not have
been a good idea), oh and install drivers for a USB turntable & the
Audacity software package to convert my old vinyl.
Does anyone know if some of the Vista upgrades, or maybe Audacity,
might have messed something up here?  Anyone else got the same or
similar problems??

Which firewall, anti-virus or security suite is installed? There are some
that cause problems which don’t always appear immediately.
