Hi all

I am having a problem with windows ultimate and the windows fax
utility. The windows fax software is is not using my
location IE dial 9 for outside line, I can get it to
work manually but it will not default to the dial 9 option.
Any ideas? Thank you in advance for your help

Are you saying that you start a new Fax, select your dialing location (rule)
and Fax ignores this?

Have you entered your Fax contact numbers in Canonical Format?

Dialing rules may not be applied to tools such as Fax and Phone Dialer on
Windows XP-based and Windows Vista-based computers

The Microsoft Fax was never a very good solution for me. It lacks many
features. I am now using Aloaha Fax from www.aloaha.com and I find it really
good.
