Mate,

What anti-virus scanner are you running?

I discovered as others have an issue with IE7 and AVG Free 8.x.  AVG seems
to interact oddly with IE7 Protected Mode and prevents printing to a local
physical printer (if you have a software printer (PDF writer, etc.) you
should still be able to print from IE7).  I uninstalled AVG 8.x Free and went
back to 7.x Free and I can print again without issue.  I'm not seeing
anything on the AVG 8.x Free forums so I'm not 100% certain and Grisoft is
aware of this problem or working on a solution.

If you are running AVG 8.x Free uninstall it and see if you can print again.
If that resolves your problem either go with AVG 7.x free or another
antivirus scanner until Grisoft resolves the issues with 8.x Free.
