i cannot seem to do much with my all in one printer now that I have updated
to vista.  all of the simple things which used to be accessible through the
all in one centre cannot be done any more as the centre is now longer
available.  can anyone suggest any other ways of scanning docs which do not
involve going through the windows photo gallery.  in particular i would like
to be able to scan docs to edit text.
thanks

Uninstall your printer.  Disconnect if from your PC.  Download the latest
driver package from Lexmark at:
http://www.downloaddelivery.com/en/cpddrivers/495.html

Install the software and do NOT reconnect the printer until the software
tells you to do so.
