I go crazy, there's no way something could go right for me.
The other day I bought an HP Photosmart C4200 All in one and for a
reason or other the Instalation Cd doesn't work. Tryed in any possible
way just won't read it.
Brought it back to the store and there it worked.
Could anyone give me some tips, pleeease!
I have Vista but it should be compatible with it.

Does your PC correctly read other CDs?

Did you try downloading the software for your printer from the HP website
and installing with that?

If you are downloading from the HP website do NOT Install Now or Run
but use the Download only / Save option and note wheere the file
downloads to so you can find it again.

Also make sure that the device is NOT plugged into the PC until after
you install the software, or until the installation tells you to if
that comes sooner.

Uninstall any HP software that shows in Remove Programs before you try
again and do this with the printer not plugged into the PC.

Assuming this is VISTA, find the file that starts the installation and
right mouse click on it and select Run as Administrator if that appears
in the context menu. If not then just Open or Run.
