Is there anywhere on Microsoft where one can download the XP operating
system.  I have Vista on my computers and I just can't even describe how much
I hate it.  Unfortunately, I had delayed buying these new computers last
winter because I was waiting for the new OS.  It seems that there should be
no charge for fixing whats crappy.

Any news in this regard?

Who is your PC manufacturer or seller (HP, SONY, Dell, etc...) ?

Some of them offer downgrade options to XP... call tech support.

TTBOMK, you can only buy XP and XP Pro via the retail box or the
OEM 'builder' envelopes through any software or computer retailer.
