I intend to get a new Vista computer.  Can I do the Settings and
Configurations transfer from my XP box to the new box with just the one
monitor?  Are there detailed instructions someplace for doing this?

Hello.

There is some step by step instructions from Microsoft that should help
you. Here's the link: 'How to use Windows Easy Transfer to migrate files
and settings from one Windows-based computer to another Windows
Vista-based computer' (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928634/en-us)

Let us know if that works for you.
