Can Someone PLEASE help me? Problem: Trying to install a printer (Lexmark X1185)......was advised that I must uninstall and download new software for Vista. No problem....I've been uninstalling for OVER A HOUR!!!!! Everytime I attempt to access support through the website (support.lexmark.com) I get either information that does not pertain to me or a error msg....several error msgs. Is anyone out there that can help me? I've been working on this since 9p or so...desperately need printer for my babies (I homeschool).

Here is a post of yours from a different Newsgroup here!

Per website(support.lexmark.com) must uninstall and add new software for
vista. Was unable to unistall from control panel....call center(then open)
walked me through the process of uninstalling a different way. I was advised
how to install, etc. then disconnected. Call center is now closed and my
screen reads PLEASE WAIT, thus uninstalling STILL. If anyone could hold my
hand and get me through this I would forever be grateful....and able to print!
