running vitsa business 32 bit. amd athlon 64 , i gb ram (don't know
mobo)
straight to the point; computer is not booting to login screen. tried
fixing via the installation dvd but just sits at "checking disk for
errors" for more than 8 hours. also tried to re-install and same
thing... stuck on "please wait"
Reboot, tap F8 at startup to go into SafeMode.
Do a System Restore
Start>Programs>Accesories>System Tools>System Restore.
OR, to reinstall vista:
To reinstall, hit either F2 or Delete to go into BIOS, or F12 to go into
boot menu, and one way or the other set the DVD/CD Drive to be 1st in the
Boot Order; insert Vista DVD, reboot.
Then load files, delete existing Vista partition, format, install Vista.
