Missing Program Groups

After I installed Vista (xp upgrade), none of my program groups show up on
the Start Menu.  I can find the folders, but I haven't figured out a way to
get them back on the start menu and work they way they are supposed to.  I
can put a shortcut there, etc. but then it will open up Explorer instead of
acting like a program group menu item.

Anyone have suggestions as to how I can fix this?

Thanks,

Reinstall the applications to repair the OS hooks.
