Can i view the folder size as a collumn in details view? It`s quite anoying
that you have to open properties to see a folder`s size.

If you hover your cursor over a folder in the right window pane it
will give the size of the contents without you needing to right click
on properties. For folders with more content you obviously will need
to wait a few seconds for Vista to calculate the value.

Is there anyway that i can speed up the calculate time so that when i moves
cursor over a folder it would show the size faster? By the way, i noticed
that with big folder i surely have to go with properties because the caculate
is way too slow

Nope. As far as I know the information isn't stored anywhere since it
is subject to change constantly. So it just takes as long as it takes.

I don't think so, but all you have to do is hover your mouse over the folder
name, to see the size.

There is a program that I find very useful called Treesize Pro.  Amongst its
features, it puts an extra column in details view, for folder sizes, as
shown here:

I have a some vague memory that this particular feature doesn't work with
Vista, but maybe they have fixed that now.  I am unable to check right now
as I am not currently using Vista.

There is also a free version of Treesize, but it is unlikely to have all the
features of the full program as it is based on an old version.
