I have a wireless connection, it works, the computer says that it's in
internet, but i can't surf, i can't update symantec, i can't get connected to
messenger...The computer says that it's connected, but i can't get in the

Well, but here you are, tho. Since you can get this far, google your
pc model,
wireless adapter model, access point model, anything else you can
think of
and print out and follow the instructions. That will be a lot easier
than people
trying to troubleshoot your problem in the blind.

Hope this helps.

No more later,

Have you right clicked the network icon in the Notification area and click
diagnose? What about temporarily disconnecting the connection, restart the
system then connect again?

Yes, i've tried it and nothing! I contacted Digicom (router) and they say
it's a Vista problem. Windows says it's HP (the new pc is a HP Compaq 6720s).
Nobody knows a thing about it.
Thanks

Maybe try disabling / removing Symantec software and see if that has any effect.

hi i have the same problem as you with my advent k4000 with windows
vista home edition premium.

My computer connects to the router but when i open internet explorer
it just says page cannot be displayed, and when i diganose the problem it
says the problem cannot be solved automatically.

i have tryed to connect it directly to the modem with a wire but it
still does the same thing, connects but doesent work.

and i have tryed using firefox but it does the same thing.

I quite sure it isant my router(belkin g+)

if you find out how to fix this could you please tell me.

Thanks

Ben
