Click start, and type DXDIAG
This will report the DirectX software info. DirectX 10 is part of Vista. I'm
not sure what that CD Rom is trying to install, but it isn't what vista
needs. You need to find a better method of installing the drive. You might
try running the CD drive with the Vista provided drivers instead of whatever
you are using.
Click start, and type: DEVMGMT.MSC
Open the CD drive Properties, and use the Driver tab to "Update Driver"
