Hi, I am a total novice when PC's are involved. I have an external hardrive,
and I need to do a backup. I am using the backup wizard on vista. however, it
comes up with an error saying;- the backup disk has a corrupted file system,
fix it using the disk error checking tool, or choose a different backup
location. This is a failry new harddrive I have and have used it
once....Please can you help?? thank you

You may need to format the external drive.
Try it, then retry the backup and let us know.
