pdf file problems

Could anyone tell me why pdf files are so slow to access (page down,
scroll down/up, etc. Didn't notice this on xp, it is incredibally slow
on Vista 32

What pdf application are you using? Foxit reader is very fast although I have
had little trouble with adobe reader either. Are you using the latest reader?

If you want to try a super-fast alternative to Adobe Reader google
"Foxit PDF Reader", I've used it for a couple of years.

But the screen appearance (in my experience) is far inferior to the
Adobe product.

Foxit has been found to have a highly critical vulnerability that won't be
patched until the next version.

Never noticed any difference, to be honest.
