hi,
I'm about to do a clean re-install of Vista.. where are IE cookies kept?
I searched online, found this path..
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows
but I see no folder "cookies" at this location (and I have "show hidden
files" turned on.. and where are Firefox cookies? as long as
everything is in AppData folder I'm ok, but some programs keep their
prefs in c:\program files/<appName>/.. for example Photohop.. so had
to back up C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\)
thank you...

Go to folder options and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". It
will then show up.
