Yesterday i accentially went into sleep mode, after resuming, my icons
in taskbar are missing, also any thing i click on says something about
programme assoications.

Only way i can do things i right clicking and run as admin, whats
happen to vista 64.

Sometimes i bloody hate it, Can someone please help, i want to get back
to normal,

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore> put it back to a
point before the prob!

Have you considered rebooting the computer to see if that restores normal
functionality?

First you should try to restart explorer.exe
Do so by holding CTRL+ALT and click DEL and bring up the task manager.

Look for Explorer.exe in the list of running processes and chose to
terminate it.

Now chose to start a new process and type explorer.exe

otherwise do a regular reboot.

And if THAT doesn't solve it do a Last Known Good Configuration and
keep your fingers crossed.
