Hi,

I'm running Vista Premium. I have a couple of old programs that want to
install DirectX and they don't give me the choice of installing DirectX.
Will they mess up my computer if I let them???

Many Thanks

As far as I know, all DirectX is backward compatible with Vista having the
most recent version. Some games offer DirectX installation without checking
to see what you have. That said, I have installed older versions of DirectX
without problems.
