Recording Capabilities of Vista?

I will be purchasing a new Dell computer with Vista Business.  Question:
Does the recording software that comes with Vista have the ability to
convert and record an ISO file?  If not, would very much appreciate any
recommendations as to a good recording program that is Vista capable, and
with just basic recording requirements, without a lot additional features.

No, Vista cannot create nor burn an ISO file.  However, the free ISO
Recorder program from Alex Feinman can:
