The Vista sp1 update is not available for me via windows update.
So I installed the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista
(also referred to as KB947821) The installation took about 15 minutes
but said install was ok. I looked at the "view update history" in windows
update, and it shows successfully installed.
My question is, now that I have the System Update Readiness Tool
installed, how do I use it , or run it, or execute it, or whatever it is
that needs to be done to make it do its thing ? I looked everywhere I could
on the MS website to find the answer, but no luck.
I have Vista 64bit ultimate installed. (and yes, I did install the 64bit
version of the System Update Readiness Tool )
Please help me to understand how this tool works.
Thanks
Mike
