Recently I installed windows vista ultimate SP1 on my PC. I connect to
the internet then windows update install more than 1GB "Software updates
and security patches" to my current vista installation I want to ask if
there is a way to save these updates to a DVD to install it again  if I
make a new vista SP1 installation or install it to another offline PC "
i.e.: I want the updates as exe files ( kbxxxx.exe ....)"

How to download updates and drivers from the Windows Update Catalog or from
the Microsoft Update Catalog:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;323166

Store Windows Updates locally for subsequent installations -
