Most of my Office 2003 icons, as well as some from other programs, are blank white and go nowhere. This includes many from Programs and Features uninstall page. I have tried using 'Detect and Repair' from Word, and get this error "This patch could not be opened. Verify..." I also get this error when I try to reinstall Office 2003 from the disk (real disk and valid product code). I followed instructions fron internet, and downloaded Windows Install Clean Up (msiucc2.exe). I run this program, but NO programs are listed as available to remove! Any ideas? Is this a registry problem? Somehow windows installer doesn't have the different programs that have been loaded in the right place?
