Is this a system folder of some sort, or one you created?

Note: Generally, the responses here are not from Microsoft employees.
Microsoft has set up these newsgroups, yes, but they are designed for
peer-to-peer support.

You posted this same sort of nonsense post before. I responded and asked for
clarification so I could help you. You never replied in that thread. Now
here you are again. This has nothing to do with Microsoft. Microsoft did
not make you go out and do something stupid to your machine with a registry
fixer, either.

If you can't communicate well enough to help us help you, take the machine
to a professional computer repair shop.

What's rude and discourteous is the OP posting such nonsense. And you are not the brightest bulb either by believing the OP.

Take the computer to someone who can understand computers.  I think this is
way out of your league.

It obviously is way out of your league since you couldn't offer
anything constructive. Of course you never have yet on any topic.

I see you only offered your standard insults.  Typical Adam.  Full of
himself.  By the way, you didn't offer a solution either.  You must be one
grain of sand in the beach!

I don't have a solution, but I'm not going to insult the guy and give
him something useless like your moronic "...take it to someone who can
understand computers".  If anyone if full of themselves, you sure are
with your constant smart a.s comments than never resolve anything.
mikeyhsd - 22 May 2008 00:09 GMT
sounds like you are trying to rename a link and not a real folder.

it would help if you posted he original names of the folder(s) you are trying to rename.
